Chocolates Chips Muffins (tryout)

Well, I finally decided to do a simple tryout Chocolate Chip Muffin recipe from my mom’s homebake cook book that she bought frm oversea.

I bought this from supermarket. This is the brand that i always love it alot. It’s a traditional old brand Silverbird Chocolate Chips.

Baking in progress….

Finally, the baking progress had finished.. I didn’t  expected that the muffins will looks nice.. as it’s just a normal muffins… But… I can’t grumble it looks ok and it’s taste nice and not too sweet..

Recipe:

115g butter or margarine, at room temperature
70g caster sugar
30g dark brown sugar
2eggs
215g plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
125ml milk
170g plain chocolate chips

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375F/190C Gas 5 Grease 10 muffin cups or use paper cases.
  2. With an electric mixer, cream the butter until soft. Add both sugars and beat until light n fluffy.Beat in the eggs, 1 at the time
  3. Sift together the flour and baking powder, twice. Fold into the butter miture, alternating with the milk add in the Chocolate chips.
  4.  Bake until light Coloured about 25mins. Let stand 5min before turning out.
